Generalities:

Pityriasis versicolor, reddish coloration on the skin, appears more often in hot places such as coasts. Fluorescent fungus with black light. Simulates scarlet fever or psoriasis, spots on the skin, causes ulcers, bruises or discoloration, common in diabetics and women, varicose ulcers.

The fungus of the genus Malassezia is part of the normal flora of the skin. The infection forms light spots on the skin, so it can be confused with other diseases such as: vitiligo, Ringworms, Pityriasis rosea or Pityriasis alba.

Transmission:

It occurs more frequently when there is excess moisture. Anti-dandruff shampoo can be used, leaving it several minutes to prevent infection. Wear clothing that allows perspiration.
