Generalities:

Alters sleep, appetite, balance: vertigo, anorexy, hearing disorders, psychological alterations.

Polyomaviruses are very small viruses with double-stranded DNA genome; They infect children at an early age and in most cases remain dormant in the kidneys. Of the same type as the SV40 virus. If it is activated, as it is the case of patients with HIV-AIDS, it can cause cystitis, hemorrhages, urethral stenosis. Either attack the nervous system causing the PML progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (demyelination of the nerves) also caused by the SV-40 virus.
