Generalities:

Virus (DNA) It is responsible for causing respiratory and ocular problems. It is confused with Common cold. It is also associated with obesity because it infects adipose tissue cells causing them to increase their number and size. Discovered since 1978 by Richard Atkinson, there are more and more studies linking the infection of this virus with obesity problems. The most recent study of 2007 indicates that the virus is found in 30% of obese people, while it is only present in 11% of people with average weight.

Trasmisión:

So far, there has not been developed a vaccine against this virus. It is spread by direct contact with the infected or by air. Special care should be taken with thin people who have symptoms of constipation. The obese do not transmit it.
